As an almost 40-year resident and homeowner here, and as a grandmother witnessing a third generation of my family being raised in Mount Vernon, I feel a strong sense of responsibility to contribute to this city.

The policy decisions made by the next iteration of the Council have the potential to permanently alter and advance our city in ways that can benefit all residents. ”
